Fees and insurance
Each fee is fixed and quoted in advance. There are no membership or facility fees.
Lodestar does not accept insurance. The practice is out-of-network with all insurers, and we provide a detailed superbill you may submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
The exception is Lyra. Lodestar accepts Lyra from select local employers, including those below. Coverage depends on how your employer has set up its Lyra benefit, so please confirm your eligibility before your first visit.

If you have Medicare, there are specific federal requirements for private-pay care. We will walk you through them before your first visit.
Substantive work between visits (records, imaging review, written reports, care coordination) is quoted in advance and never hidden.
Insurance pays psychiatrists by the visit, which pushes visits to be short. A fixed fee paid directly lets the evaluation take as long as it needs.
